The Blackdeer ABJL SHELL Tent is not just a product launch. its the vision of Jake Lah, founder of DAC and one of the most respected figures in the outdoor industry. Personally designed by Jake Lah, this tent redefines what a modern dome tent can be.
The name SHELL comes from its shape like ocean waves and seashell curves. Its dual vestibules open like a shell, providing panoramic views and excellent ventilation. Plus, the outer flysheet can function independently as a lounge shelter perfect for road trips and seaside relaxation.
I wanted to free users from conventional thinking. This tent allows you to remove the inner tent and simply use the outer flysheet as an open rest space.

Why This Tent Matters?
Most dome tents claim to be freestanding but once a vestibule is added, many lose that ability. SHELL solves this, combining vestibule versatility with a 100% freestanding body.
Jake Lah innovative approach integrates the pole intersections into one unified frame, delivering both space and structural stability something rarely achieved in dome tents.
To further improve user experience, Velcro has been eliminated. Traditional Velcro can damage fabrics and weaken structure over time. SHELL avoids this pitfall, protecting both form and function.
