Turn your Petrel Pot into a French press without packing a separate brewer. The reusable mesh assembly works with the original lid, then packs down to 1.3 inches thick inside the included storage bag.

Fits the petrel Pot: the filter is sized specifically for the Petrel G2 or G3 Pot and is not interchangeable between the G2 and G3 version.
Brew in One Vessel: heat water, steep the coffee, and press it in the pot
Filter Without Paper: the reusable stainless-steel mesh holds back most coarse coffee grounds without disposable paper filters.
Pack Inside the Kit: the assembly is designed to packed neatly and stores in the included cloth bag.
Use the Original Lid: the press assembly works with your existing Petrel Pot lid, so a second brewing lid is not included.

Do not boil the water when the Petrel French Press Coffee Filter is in the pot
A quick rinse after brewing is usually enough to remove coffee grounds and keep the filter clean.
 It also works perfectly for loose-leaf tea as well, straining out the leaves just like it does specifically for coffee grounds.
